Does Molstead Library have parking?

Answer

There are two campus parking lots adjacent to the Molstead Library building. A valid NIC parking permit is required for any vehicle, except vehicles displaying handicapped plates or placards, parked at the main NIC campus between 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday - Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday during the academic year.

Visitors are required to obtain a free visitor parking pass for their vehicle if visiting campus. Visitor passes are available from the Molstead Library, the DeArmond Building, and the Switchboard Operator in the Sherman Building. A visitor is defined as a person other than a student, staff, or faculty member of North Idaho College.

A visitor parking pass obtained from the Molstead Library is valid until end-of-day (4:00pm) and allows a visitor to park in any parking space in the Molstead parking lot, excluding spots reserved for NIC employees only.

  • Students and employees may purchase permits online.
  • There is limited free parking along Hubbard Ave. adjacent the library parking lot year-round.
  • Parking permits are not required over the summer.
